This handbook has been created to provide you with useful information about your experience with East Carolina Behavioral Health Local Management Entity (ECBH LME) and its community of providers. You will learn about accessing services, person centered planning and how your strengths and abilities will be used to create a plan that promotes a sense of purpose, hope, and meaning. In this book you will also find information about your rights and responsibilities. You will find out how your information is kept private and the limitations to that privacy. This book will also discuss your financial responsibilities, as well as, what to do in case of an emergency or crisis. Finally, we have provided you with a list of local and state resources to further assist you with your quest for wellness.
