The Consumer and Family Advisory Committee

Our CFAC mission is to ensure the development and delivery of services and supports remains responsive to the well-being of the people served.

CFAC members are adult service recipients or family members of recipients.  They are appointed to provide consumer and family input and perspective to the Area Board and LME/MCO leadership.

CFAC membership reflects the demographic makeup of our service area, as well as the range of services ECBH provides.  CFACs are in place for each Behavioral Health LME/MCO in North Carolina. 

The State Consumer and Family Advisory Committee (SCFAC) works directly with leadership of the NC Divison of MHDDSAS to provide input about the state-wide system.  Consumers and family members may become participants in this process by completing a membership application.  Additional information related to this opportunity is available on the State CFAC web page.
